10 years. That is how long it has been since I started ev0lve.xyz as a university student back in 2015. What began out of curiosity quickly spiraled into a passion project that defined a decade of my life.
This project was about so much more than just being the next random p2c provider. It was also about the people, the community, the engagement and the connections. I am extremely proud of the community that we were able to build over the past 10 years and being known as the nicest community of any p2c provider is something that no one can take away from us. Thank you.
I have met countless individuals along this journey, and what started as online interactions ev0lved into some genuine, long lasting friendships. None of this would have been possible without the tireless dedication of the exceptional people who built and maintained ev0lve alongside me. Despite the hostility of the scene and the sleepless nights, those human connections made every struggle worth it. It was an amazing ride, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
And it certainly wasn't easy either.
After fighting our way from nobodies in 2015 to the top in 2017, we also tried expanding into other games, such as Apex, Overwatch, R6S and others. We succeeded, without sacrificing quality in our other products but sadly these endevours came to an early and unwanted end due to the usual (legal) struggles.
Nonetheless we proved that
ev0lve
was not just a one hit wonder.
We weathered the storm in 2018 when everyone called us "dead", only to prove them wrong and return stronger than ever in 2020 and 2021.
However, time moves on. After parting ways with raxer in late 2022, and with the shift to CS2 in 2023, the spark that once drove us began to fade. We tried to restructure to find that fire again, but the momentum was gone.
So it is with a heavy heart that I bring the story of
ev0lve.xyz
to a close. I am heartbroken that it ends here, but I am endlessly grateful for the journey, the experiences, the lessons, and above all, the friendships that turned an idea into something far greater.
The book of ev0lve.xyz is now closed. Thank you @everyone
